This is how you can help Become a supporter of our foundation! Expulsions have remained omnipresent to this day. More than fifteen million Germans and other peoples were the victims of ethnically based displacements in the 20th century. These breaches of human rights against the innocent are hardly present in the public consciousness. There is nowhere that these European tragedies can be seen in complete overview. We will change this with our non-profit foundation. The ZENTRUM GEGEN VERTREIBUNGEN will plug this gap by creating a central documentation and meeting place in BERLIN. We have already made a start with public events and the internet. We want to ensure that an important part of German history and the fate of other European peoples is processed. We want to ensure that expulsion is outlawed as a political tool. The foundation has already been given a great deal of support: More than 400 cities and districts in Germany have made donations to the foundation. Personalities from public life stand up for the foundation with their names, inter alia Arnulf Baring, Helga Hirsch, Freya Klier, György Konrád, Peter Scholl-Latour, Guido Knopp, Joachim Gauck, Tilman Zülch, Otto von Habsburg. Numerous donors have made an important contribution to the expansion of the foundation with larger or smaller sums of money.
